Description of Chevron

Use the Chevron app to pay for fuel from the comfort of your driver’s seat for a fast and simple experience at the pump! Now, receive additional benefits by signing up for the newest and exciting Chevron Texaco Rewards (CTR) program that rewards members up to 50¢ off per gallon by earning points on fuel and qualifying in-store purchases. Use the phone app to check the station finder to find a participating Chevron or Texaco station near you by filtering “Chevron Rewards”!

How to use the Chevron app:
• Before heading to the station, sign up and create a user account for mobile payments and link your preferred payment method to your user account.
• At the station, use the app on your phone to reserve the pump and select your payment method from your driver’s seat
• When prompted, fill up at the pump and go. Your receipt will be waiting for you on your phone!

How CTR works:
• Sign up via the app
• Fuel up with the app at the pump
• Redeem rewards for fuel discounts. Earn points with every purchase for up to 50¢ off per gallon

Easy ways to stay connected:
• Connect the app to your car’s dashboard to find stations, redeem CTR rewards, add carwash, and pay for fuel. Feature is available for Android Auto and Automotive OS users.
• Use Chevron Wear OS app and smart watch to fuel up at stations and redeem your CTR points at sites that accept mobile payments.

Today I filled up my vehicle with non ethanol fuel for 3.47 a gallon when the current price is $4.57.. This was the easiest set up for an app that you use to pay for a product/service that I have ever set up! The offers are 100% legit. I received $1.10/gal off my first fill up. Plus I have $1.00/gal off my next two fill ups for just signing up! Do not pass up this amazing app.

Great app. It's nice to be able to pay from it directly since it can help with not having to physically present your credit card at the gas station. Also, the rewards are pretty good, I have saved some real money using them

I've installed this app multiple times after putting my phone number in and receiving the code, all I get is a notification of an unexpected error! I hope you have an update coming soon!

Guys are full of it. When your locations actually start PARTICIPATING then this app will be worth something. Wasted my time. Update: The link provided shows that only San Francisco has participating locations 😂 maybe making that info available in the app would be helpful. Literally the rest of the world cannot use your app.

cannot figure out how to use my Safeway points and this app at the same time. I try to type my # into the pump and it will not accept as long as I am using the app. please fix this issue, as I lost 8 Safeway points last month, because I was using the chevron app. I should've been receiving $1.80 / gallon discount. instead I only got a dollar off. They also need an option to use cash for when you don't want to use your debit card, or it's someone else's turn to pay.

App only works when it wants to, which lately hasn't been at all. And with Chevron charging a whole dollar more in California than their competitors, I have no reason to go if I can't use my membership/reward points I have built up. You used to save 10 cents a gallon using the app also and a lot of Chevrons aren't honoring that anymore either.

The app is fine. It works well. It takes away the stress of waiting in line inside the store. But there are places where the Wi-Fi does not connect, and you must have a good time for your cell phone to get the signal and be able to put gas in your vehicle. But what surprises me is that every time I try to reach 50 cents, I have to start over with the points? I don't understand? How many more times?

Not working! I get mobil pay temporarily out of order on every stations I've visited for the past month. I gave up and using the plastic card. It is cumbersome to use with Android Auto. It ask to input phone number. It is impossible to do it on the Android Auto.

I was duped. I saw an ad for this app. It offered $1 off per gallon when you fill up. It was supposedly good for three fill ups. No discount was applied. Uninstalling. Don't fall for the switch and bait. They are liars! Edit: I called customer service through the app and I was supposed to receive 1000 points up on sign up to get $1 off per gallon. Then they said Austin, Texas, which is where I live, does not have this offer available. So... SCAM ALERT! El Paso is the only city in TX

This app is ok, for the most part it has worked. I went to a pump so I can build the points and I was on empty, and the app stopped working, so I used my card. While at the stop light that was in front of the chevron, I tried it and the app worked, AFTER using my card 🙄. And recently, I was getting many points and close to the 25 cents, the app was having "difficulties" , so it dropped my points and sent me back to 5 cents off. Was liking and starting to dislike it and Uninstall.

it works great for filling up and giving you the points there. paying with your phone to fill up is fine. it does not work inside the store. The number and account stuff never goes through with the cashiers.

Chevron app for the galaxy watch 5 pro disappeared from the app store. Apparently, it is no longer compatible? What exactly happened? Was it pulled from the app store for some reason? I would really like some answers but Chevron support hasn't responded with anything useful yet despite emailing them multiple times now. The email that you guys provide is absolute garbage and no one responds faster than once every two weeks (even if i respond within 5 minutes of receiving your responses).

the app is great, the company on the other hand.... pumps with screens that don't work, and employees who refuse to provide assistance with the pump. Meanwhile, Chevron (in Tucson) raises gas prices to be higher than everyone else. That $1 off per gallon for the 1st three gas purchases - nothing but a gimmick. I will go somewhere else and delete the app. A good app can't outweigh bad service.

Went to fill up today, and I had over 1,000 points available. The pump tried connecting to the app, but then only offered me $.05/gal off, which I declined. I started the transaction over again, and my account now shows that I only have 48 points, even though I never filled up, the pump never offered me my $1.00/gal off, and my transaction history even shows that I should have over 1,000 points. Used the app once, and it worked well, but this visit cost me money. I want my money back.

Has worked for a year and then stops working at the pumps at all. Have redownloaded and tried again and again and still doesnt work. Store clerks dont have any answers. Whats the point of having the app if it just stops working at all.

This app is inconsistent and almost everyday I feel like I'm having to call support for one reason or another which is quite inconvenient because it always seems to go down on the weekends when there is no support. Every other day it's either the gift card doesn't want to link up or doesn't allow me to authorize my payment at the gas pump. It's a headache!

I downloaded this app for the rewards program, but it's not available at any stores in my area. I tried the app, it's limited on searching, I tried the website, it can search further, but still no stores support the rewards program. I can't find a store that accepts it. This is bad advertising and part of me hopes it'll backfire on this company but I'd rather they just open the rewards for even just one store in my area. If you advertise rewards somewhere, it should be available at that location

This app is a godsend! I had misplaced my credit card and needed gas for the long drive to work. I downloaded the app and it linked to my G Pay. On top of the convenience, I got points that will give me a $1 per gallon discount the first few fillups! No way!!! I'm gobsmacked with how cool this app works! It knows which station I'm at, I simply select the pump # and fill up! It gives me my receipt in the app too! So easy!!!
