I've used this app for quite a while and enjoyed it greatly, especially the math problem setting. However, since the update this mode is essentially useless--the visuals are ugly, it gives you barely enough time, and often you'll have two separate math problems placed above one another, making it impossible to read. Very disappointing update for a feature that I've enjoyed for a long time.

I've been using Alarmy for 4 years now & it's a total game changer! I was the type to snooze until right before I had to leave, but no more. I use the picture method, so I have to get out of bed, walk to my kitchen, turn on the lights, and take a picture of a magnet to turn off the alarm. No going back to sleep after that! The app is also relentless--no turning off your phone, no uninstalling the app, no changing the alarm last second. Love/hate relationship, but it works! Highly recommend

I installed this app because alarms don't go off if you're in a call. I am in a long distance relationship and frequently end up falling asleep on call with my significant other. I saw an ad for this app and it specifically advertised going off even during calls. I downloaded it and tried it for that reason, and it worked amazing. (Also, the wake up brain games have been incredible for me. I've finally stopped falling asleep after waking up which was a MAJOR problem for me.) ♾️/5 stars.

This has succeeded where all other alarms (and my will) has failed and forced me to get up. The options are flexible enough to suit many living situations and the barcode scanning has worked flawlessly every time I've used it. I do wish the option to gradually increase volume had a couple more increments between 1 minute and 5 minutes. 2 or 3 minutes specifically would be nice.

Extremely angry with this unreliable app. It used to always function flawlessly and help me get up (I'm a very deep sleeper). I've literally used this for over a year; it has issues every now and then but is otherwise OK. Recently, though, it fails more often than not. It doesn't matter if you use math alarm or photo alarm or anything if you can just turn the volume down and sleep through it. Alarmy used to have this feature where if you turned the volume down, it would immediately crank it back up to full volume. It seems to just randomly decide to not do that anymore, making it worse than a normal alarm clock.

I previously loved this app. I used it consistently for about a year, mainly as an alarm only and didn't use the advanced features. After so long you get tired of seeing the newsfeed screen so I figured I'd throw the developr some money. Little did I know the upgrade is $8.99. For an alarm app. Maybe it's worth it to those using advanced features. For me though, I've moved over to Wakey. Edit: Looks like this is intentional and they are working on a new version. Props.

This alarm app definitely work! I've been using it for more than a month now and it has not failed to get me out of bed. For optimal results I recommend using the barcode scanner and then placing it far from where you sleep and giving the app unmonitored background usage so you can really make it through those tough mornings. I've had experiences where I lost the barcode I was supposed to scan and I couldn't turn off the alarm. long story short, you will wake up whether you want to or not.

This app seemed great and worked pretty well on my partner's phone. However, on my matching phone none of the settings actually change anything and it goes off at full blast on the default sound (which is extremely jarring when you already have a hard time waking up). The only part that works is that you can still change the mission, but this has started my day out annoyingly for about a week now and I'm over it. If they are able to somehow fix this, I might be willing to try it again.

It was amazing in the beginning. I had my missions and everything was great. Until it started falling downhill. By that I mean glitching out, even when I turned off the phone and shut it down completely. What's more? When I turned on the phone, it was ringing and blacked out. Luckily, I was able to get enough time before the black-out to delete the app. The worst thing is that the rest of my family was asleep and this woke them up. I'm going back to the clock app, where it doesn't glitch out.

I purchased premium years ago, and I have Play Pass, but now it's asking me to pay $40 a year for premium features. For one, purchasing premium prior to adding a subscription should Grandfather you into a lifetime subscription, and for two, there shouldn't even be an option for any sort of purchases when the app is part of Play Pass. VERY disappointed - unless this is just a UI bug I'll be moving onto a different app because (if not a bug) this is extremely scummy

Please add longer mission timeout options!! The max is 60 seconds which isn't enough time if I need to take care of something between missions. It often times out on me and then I have to do everything over. I really like this app, it works really well and I recommend it to my friends. I wish it was a little cheaper. I would appreciate a one-time payment option instead of the subscription, even if it's more expensive.

It's honestly very effective, but I had to uninstall after the third time the 'emergency' shut off almost got me killed. I understand why the override needs to be difficult, so one doesn't abuse it and skip tasks to sleep in. But it also can't tell that I'm driving and can't follow 100+ boxes around my screen. And it often ignores the direction to 'skip next alarm,' unfortunately. I will probably re-install unless I can find something comparable, but only because it works.

White noise doesn't help you fall asleep if it turns on and off at random intervals. I have internet that can handle 4k streaming and gaming, and a decently powerful phone. I can't imagine not being able to stream white noise when all other audio apps work perfectly fine. This app has some nice features, and other people seem to enjoy it.

It was going good until I set an alarm for 3am(i had to do something then) I have the photo thingy where u have to take a photo of part of your morning routine. When the alarm went off, the volume kept going up. IT WOULD NOT GO DOWN. I tried turning it down with the volume thing on the side, it worked but not even 2 seconds later it went back up to the max. I would rather go to my old alarm and just set it across the room so I have to walk to turn it off.

You'll never accidentally turn off your alarm again! After oversleeping using the alarm clock built into Android, due to how easy it is to turn off, I knew I'd need an alarm clock that was difficult to just turn off accidentally. While being easy to snooze, Alarmy is designed to require you to perform three simple math problems in order to actually turn off the alarm. You can even configure it to not allow you to uninstall the app while the alarm is sounding or in snooze mode!

Wakes me up when nothing else works. Easily a 5 star app except for 2 problems I have with it. If you're on a phone call the alarm still sounds and if you have to do math problems or anything else to dismiss the alarm you'll have to do them while on the call. Also, when alarms go off they completely stop any YouTube video or music that's playing and the video or music doesn't start up again. Alarmy also stays on the screen so I have to stop what I'm doing to go back to YouTube or whatever.

When I found Alarmy I was super excited because it actually woke me up. I used it for a few days and even subscribed to get more options. But then it started wigging out after only three days, and it started going off after I had struggled to complete the missions in time. It was also supposed to turn off the alarm while you completed the missions, but the alarm didn't turn off while I was trying to do a math problem, and I had to restart my phone twice to even delete the app. Disapointing.

It's hard to get me out of bed (or in it, tbh) but this app does it! The picture mode is especially helpful, although a little unreliable. I don't hold the phone the same way when fully awake and not quite there yet so I appreciate the app gives me a few tries. Steps too! Barcode is great too, I have used it with a book to study. A real game changer for anyone with executive functioning issues. There is nothing else quite like it.
